The Marilia Brush is made with grey horse hairbrush and has a beautiful 16-inch bamboo handle and is 9 inches wide. The bristles are 2.75 inches in length, are full and have good density.

The long handle and thick brush head will allow the artist to make wide expressive marks. The mixed grey bristles are semi-coarse and have good spring and flex. It will make very wide and varied marks. In the examples I used very little ink - you could load up this brush if desired with a ton of paint or ink.

The bamboo handle is comfortable to hold and provides good counterbalance to the brush head.

There is a lot of work that goes into making this wide a brush, the price reflects the complexity, materials cost (it requires a lot of horsehair to make this type of brush) and time that it takes to make.
