Black Horsehair Sumi-e Paint Brush With Wood Ferrule

This larger painter's brush was made with my premium quality horsehair bristle. The bristle is 5.5" in length. The handle was made from bamboo and the ferrule was made with a piece of wormwood. The bristle has a very strong spring and great flex.

The wormwood ferrule has a combination of natural and made lines. 

The handle is 14.5" in length and has a striped burned-in pattern.
