Needle Point Incising Tool

This needlepoint metal incising toll has a strong/sharp tip. The cholla cactus handle is 4" in length and the tip is .5 inches long. The top of the tool has a copper wrap.

This tool can be used for incising into most softer surfaces. I primarily use them for working on ceramics for the sgraffito process. The sharp point is essential for my sgraffito process. I often sharpen the tool after a couple of uses. This tool can also be used for mark-making on encaustic paintings. The sharp pointed tip is ideal for mark-making.
