The bamboo is fire-cured—no sealant is used. Instead, the natural resin is drawn to the surface during the heating process, creating a smooth, lustrous finish. The handle is richly patterned with flame marks and carved accents and includes a leather loop for hanging.

The wide, flared bristle bundle delivers strong, textured strokes and is especially suited for artists who enjoy working gesturally or pushing media with force and rhythm.
