Large 10" Black Horsehair Sumi-e Paint Brush With Ceramic Ferrule PS52

This Sumi-e style brush is perfect for the artist that wants to create large-scale work. The natural taper of the bristles creates a smooth stroke, while the semi-coarse horsehair bristles are perfect for fine-lane, multi-texture work. The ferrule is stoneware ceramic, hand-painted with a dragon, and has a gorgeous finish.

The black horsehair bristle has a naturally tapered shape, and it is semi-coarse. The brush has a 10" bristle and wide splay.

The handle is 25" in length, and it has a leather hanging strap and a natural stone on the end (which represents a dragon egg).

The 25" handle on this brush is bamboo and has a burned pattern that mimics dragon scales. It has a satiny, smooth finish that is the perfect thickness for a brush this size. The end of the brush has been embellished with a natural stone.
