White Horsehair Sumi-e Paint Brush with Ceramic Ferrule #119

This unique and beautiful brush was made with a piece of cholla cactus skeleton, it has a ceramic ferrule, and premium quality white horsehair.

This is a large brush, it is a great option for those that want to work on large-scale work. The white horsehair bristle is special, it is 6.5" in length, has all natural tips and is full and thick. This is a very expensive bristle (the price of the brush reflects this).

The handle is super satiny, and has been sanded until very smooth. The horsehair is super soft, has great flex, strong spring, natural uncut tips, and will make a wide variety of marks. The brush bristle has a traditional Sumi-e style tapered shape. The brush bristle will hold a TON of media and can make very bold and dynamic marks.

The ferrule has a beautiful glaze that has mauve, purples and grey color.

The brush has:

• A leather hanging strap with wooden bead
• The handle is 19" in length, including the ferrule
• The ferrule is ceramic

• The brush head has a traditional tapered shape
