5" White Horsehair Sumi-e Paint Brush With Ceramic Ferrule PS7

This is a gorgeous, larger brush made with my premium white horsehair bristle. White horsehair bristles are special in general, this one is 5" in length. The handle is woodworm pine that I found on the north end of Flathead Lake. The ceramic ferrule is a beautiful metallic copper color.

The bristle on this brush has natural un-cut tips and a traditional tapered bristle head. 

The handle on this brush is well-balanced and has good heft, has been smoothed, polished. and has red highlights. 

The 19.5" handle on this brush has a satiny, smooth finish that is the perfect thickness for a brush this size. It also has a leather hanging strap.

My brushes are made to create a vast array of marks. When I make a brush I think about all aspects of the tool: how it looks, how it feels in the hand, and how it paints - to ensure that the end product is a true "fine art tool". This one danced inside my head for some time before it was born. It had to be special, I think it is.
