This listing is for a 9" Silicone multi-line blade. This is a reductive tool that is made for printmaking and specifically for Encaustic Monotype (although it will work with many different media or processes). See the video below to review mark-making capability.

The blade works reductively removing and moving medium from and across the hot plate. Since it is made with silicone and can withstand high temperatures (up to 350 F).

Very satisfied

I love my 9" silicone mark making tool! I knew when I saw Elizabeth demonstrating it that I had to have it. Not only does it make wonderful striations in my paint, but it's a beautiful tool and fits well in my hand. I use it with acrylic paints rather than hot wax, but it works beautifully in my applications.
