Black Horsehair Paintbrush With Driftwood Handle

This larger Sumi-e style brush has a 4" premium black horsehair bristle that has strong spring and great flex. This painter's brush can work with many different types of media including ink, acrylic, oil paint, etc.

The 13" handle is made from driftwood that we found on the north shore of Flathead lake.  The handle has a leather hanging strap. the ferrule was also made from wood found on the north shore, it has been shaped and polished.

This brush will make a wide array of marks, including wide dynamic and fine lines. The horsehair bristle tips are uncut and pointed. Even though this is a larger brush. it is still nice and lightweight.

The brush head has a traditional tapered shape.
