Black Horsehair Round Dome Paintbrush with Ceramic Ferrule

This unique and beautiful brush was made with a driftwood handle from Flathead Lake. The ferrule is ceramic and has a brown copper, satin glaze. The bristle was made with my premium horsehair and it has a round dome shape.

The handle is super satiny, smooth, and has beautiful natural dark brown organic shapes. In addition, it has a natural wormwood pattern.

The horsehair has great flex, has a strong spring, and will make a wide variety of marks. The brush bristle has a round dome shape. The brush bristle will hold a lot of media and can make very bold and dynamic marks if desired. 

The brush has:

• A leather hanging strap 
• The handle is 11" in length, including the ferrule
• The ferrule is ceramic

Bristlehead:

• Is 3" in length 
• The brush head has a round dome shape

My brushes are made to create a vast array of marks. When I make a brush I think about all aspects of the tool: how it looks, how it feels in the hand, and how it paints - to ensure that the end product is a true "fine art tool".
