Coarse Mixed Horsehair Sumi-e Paint Brush With Ceramic Ferrule SC3

This is a gorgeous, large brush that was made with ribbed bamboo and mixed, semi-coarse horsehair. The brush also has a ceramic ferrule. The semi-coarse mixed horsehair is semi-stiff, has great flex, strong spring, and will make a wide variety of marks, from wide/dynamic to very fine. The tips are also natural, and uncut.

The handle is bamboo and has a burned-in organic pattern and a seed embellishment on the end. The handle also has a leather hanging strap. The brush handle also has a beautiful natural ribbed pattern and copper embellishments.

The brush bristle is thick and a full 6" in length and has a fabulously wide and full splay. The bristle head has a natural tapered shape as well.

Traditional Sumi-e style bristle head:

• The mixed  horsehair is 6" 
• The bamboo handle is 15.5" in length
