This Marilia brush has a 9" wide mixed horsehair bristle and a beautiful 16-inch bamboo handle with a burned-in stripe pattern. The bamboo ferrule also has a burned-in pattern. The bristles are 2.75 inches in length, are full, and have good density. The brush also has an inlaid sell near the bristle head and a red design on the end.
**This particular brush has a lot of extra features, the burned-in striped pattern on the bamboo handle/ferrule, the inlaid copper/shell, and the carved-in pattern on the end of the ferrule. It also has wood inlay on the top of the brush handle**
The handle and thick brush head will allow the artist to make wide expressive marks. The bristles have good stiffness and great flex. It will make very wide and varied marks.
