Parrot Feather Sumi-e Paintbrush

This listing is for a handcrafted parrot feather Sumi-e paintbrush which was made with small soft, flexible parrot feathers that are 2" in length. These types of feathers can make very fluids and delicate marks, they are wonderful to work with. The feathers also have very good spring and shape recall.

This brush has softer tips, with good flex (see pictures). The bristle is 2" in length.

The bamboo handle is 7.5" long. It has a striped burned-in pattern, and a leather hanging strap.

Feather brushes are also very durable and clean up well. The smaller brush that I use in this video is 8 years old.
