Fiber Fan Brush

This listing is for a fiber fan brush with a wooden handle (the handle was made with an antique quill bobbin). The handle has a leather hanging strap and is 8" in length.

The bristle is 5" in size and has a bamboo bar.

The bristle has a 'sawtooth" cut texture, which allows the artist to create dramatic texture and lines on the surface of the painting or when using ink on paper. 

This fiber brush will create fine lines as well and is designed to work with many mediums including cold wax.

Clean-Up Information:

• Use a common art solvent (such as odorless paint thinner) to remove paint/cold wax, then wash with a mild soap such as Dove or Murphy's Oil Soap to remove any residual media. 
• Use your fingers/palms to rub the bristles or fibers together to loosen and remove the residual media from the brush head.
• Make sure to thoroughly rinse and remove residual solvent after cleaning
• Pat the fibers dry and hang dry
