Large Parrot Feather Paintbrush with Bamboo Handle

This brush is handmade by Elizabeth, it has black bamboo and a domestic parrot feather brush head, which has long, flexible,  feathers and makes interesting marks. This brush is made to work with a variety of media and is one of my favorite brushes to work with ink. You can create a lot of movement in the images this brush makes. These brushes are wonderful to work with. They can create a lot of unexpected marks, which have a lot of energy and movement.

The feather head is 9" in length and the brush handle is 10" in length. The feathers are red, dark and light blue, yellow and dark grey.

The black bamboo handle is soft and smooth and has a leather strap on the end of the handle.

Each brush is unique and one of a kind.

I consider each brush to be a work of art, in addition to being a mark-making tool
