Natural Horsehair Paintbrush with Bamboo Root Handle

This listing is for a natural horsehair paintbrush. The brush has a long 3" coarse black horsehair bristle. The black horsehair is very coarse, has strong flexibility, and will make a wide variety of marks. This type of brush bristle also can work well with thicker media, such as cold wax, gel mediums, etc.

The handle was made from a piece of bamboo root and has a ribbed outer structure. I have polished the wood, so it is smooth and soft. It feels really comfortable to hold and paint with. It is a chunky a bigger handle. A lot of work goes into making a handle like this. It starts out as a large and unruly root ball.
