Natural Sable Paintbrush with Driftwood Brush Rest #25

This listing is for a natural sable paintbrush with a pointed tip and a natural driftwood brush rest (you can buy separately). The sable brush has a full brush bristle, with natural strands which come to a long thin point. The brush rest sits nice and flat on the table and has a subtle groove to hold the brush. 

The brush rest is made from a really beautiful piece of driftwood from Flathead Lake. It has been sanded, shaped, oiled and polished. It has great organic shapes, curves, and colors. It is a piece of art all by itself.

The brush has a bamboo handle with a burned-in pattern and leather hanging strap. I wanted the pair to feel like they belong together and I think I achieved that. 

Sable brushes are often preferred by artists for their quality of picking up and dropping paint as well as their ability of precise control when painting with watercolors or acrylics.
