These brushes were made by Elizabeth. They each have an 8" bamboo handle and coarse black or white horsehair 2" bristles. The bristles are very stiff, course, and have good spring/density.
This type of bristle will make a wide variety of marks, since the bristles are very stiff they will create both bold solid marks, as well as fine varied lines. This is a great utility brush, that will stand up to aggressive mark-making.
This brush was made using high-quality horsehair, the 8" handle has been conditioned with beeswax paste and has a leather hanging strap.
