Sumi-e Paint Brush With Driftwood Brush Rest

This brush was made with bamboo and black horsehair. The has an image of bamboo carved into it. The black horsehair is stiff, has great flex, and has been cut into a rounded slant. This brush has great spring and will make a wide variety of marks, from wide/dynamic to very fine.

The brush comes with:

• A removable leather hanging strap
• A natural driftwood brush rest

• The Black Horsehair is 2.35" in length
• The Handle is 6" in length

My brushes are made to create a vast array of marks. When I make a brush I think about all aspects of the tool: how it looks, how it feels in the hand and how it paints - to ensure that the end product is a true "fine art tool".
