White Tail Deer Sumi-e Paint Brush with Driftwood Brush Rest

This unique and beautiful brush was made with a bamboo, white tail deer tail and comes with a driftwood brush rest. The bamboo handle is soft and satiny and has a copper embellishment on the end of the handle. The bristle is soft, has great flex, comes to a fine point. The bristle head has a traditional Asian brush shape. This is a delicate brush, that can make fine lines. 

The brush has:

• A leather hanging strap 
• A driftwood brush rest

Bristlehead:

• The bristle is 2.75" in length 
• The handle is 6.5" in length

My brushes are made to create a vast array of marks. When I make a brush I think about all aspects of the tool: how it looks, how it feels in the hand, and how it paints - to ensure that the end product is a true "fine art tool".
