Coarse, Stiff Horsehair Brush with Bamboo Handle
Coarse, Stiff Horsehair Brush with Bamboo Handle
This brush is specially crafted with a 6" to 7" bamboo handle and stiff, coarse horsehair bristles between 1.5" - 2" in length. The bristle type will be selected based on its coarseness. Designed with a short and flat brush head shape, this brush allows for maximum contact with the painting surface, as well as firm bristles apt for textural rendering and subtle marks. The brush is recommended for Cold Wax but can be utilized for a range of media, including acrylic, oils, and gel mediums.

Clean-Up Information:
- Use a common art solvent (such as odorless paint thinner) to remove paint/cold wax, then wash with a mild soap such as Dove or Murphy's Oil Soap to remove any residual media.
- Use your fingers/palms to rub the bristles to remove the residual media from the brush head.
- Never leave sitting in-solvent
- Make sure to thoroughly clean and rinse off the solvent. Leaving solvent on without removing it with water and soap can damage the brush
