In deze "één op één" workshop op maat leer je werken met carbon encaustic verf op een hot palette of HOTbox. Deze sessie behandelt meer diepgaande toepassingen voor carbonverf, waaronder het werken met gekleurde encaustic verf, enkele siliconengereedschappen en een snelle toepassing van Oost-Indische inkt.

In deze 1/2 uur durende sessie behandel ik het volgende:

Welk soort media/oppervlaktemateriaal te gebruiken
Hoe het afdrukoppervlak correct met het medium te laden
Basistechnieken voor het maken van markeringen
Een snelle toepassing van inkt op het bedrukte oppervlak
De interactie van koolstof en gekleurde encaustische verven

Voorafgaand aan elke sessie zal ik de artiest vragen om een korte vragenlijst in te vullen die me zal helpen de sessie af te stemmen op hun artistieke doelen.

I love taking classes with Elizabeth!

I have taken a group with Elizabeth before and really enjoyed her teaching style. I just finished a one on one Zoom training with Elizabeth and I REALLY, truly got a lot out of my hour session with her. She is organized & generous with her knowledge. She checked in with me often to see if I had questions and to make sure I was getting what I wanted to out of our time together.
I learned so much about how to use her silicone tools on the hot box and some additional techniques around the use of color and pressure in printmaking that will really help me achieve the prints I have been looking to create. I am thrilled that she offers one-on-one classes and will be using Elizabeth again for more printing and painting techniques. She is a joy to spend time with and provided inspiring take-aways.

Great workshop. Elizabeth has a great handle on tools. She is clear when teaching and a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend her workshops as well as her brushes and silicone tools.

Great Ideas!

I purchased this amazing encaustic carbon wax from Elizabeth and saw that she had a one-on-one class with ideas on it’s uses. So I signed up and I did not regret it! I learned a heck of a lot from her in half an hour! She is a natural at mark making and gave me many of her secret tips that I will value forever!
