Enjoying my new multi-tool. I find it lightweight and well made. I can create a fluid continuous mark with ease on my plexi glass plate for monoprinting. Looking forward to continuous experimentation.
I bought the smallest size blade as I am using it on my gelli plates. Wise decision! The blade is so easy to hold and it makes lovely marks. Plus, it looks so beautiful. Elizabeth puts as much care into constructing these blades as she does her brushes. I am a beginning artist, although well-on in years, and I fully appreciate the value of using these exquisite tools. Tiny but mighty in so many ways! Thank you.
I am using my silicone blade on a gel plate. Although one of the smaller sizes, it works perfectly on either the 5" plate or my larger 12" one. The teeth are carefully cut and make clean, beautiful lines. The grip is not only easy to hold, but it is also gorgeous to look at.
I have purchased several brushes as a gift for my resident artist. They are always appreciated and well received.
Although I am not the artist, I do find beauty in the unique driftwood handles.
I am using my blade on my gelli plate. It is a joy to hold and use. Clearly a great deal of love and care went into its making. Thank you Elizabeth for yet another precious tool
Thank you so much! I love my beautiful carving tool. It came well packaged and arrived in perfect condition.
The beautifully crafted handle is easy to hold and lovely to look at.
Wonderful attention to detail in every way. I look forward to purchasing more of your hand crafted tools and brushes
This brush is a true work horse, and delivers awesome marks. It feels good in my hands and connects me to my muse. Plus, it is a beautiful masterpiece, a work of art that really stands out in my studio. I absolutely love it and all the other brushes that I have that Elizabeth made...she is a true brush master.
Once again, Elizabeth has imbued the fish on Kim's pottery with lives of their own! The colours are delightful and the patterns full of life. This is going to make a great gift, if I can bear to give it away. Thank you!
As is usual with Elizabeth and Kim's pottery, the workmanship is impeccable. The little fish look like they will come to life if you add water to the bowl. The touches of red add character and interest. Although I want to keep this I'm sending it to Australia as a gift
Elizabeth's tools add an indefinable elevation to plain working. Everything is weighted brilliantly. Similar to the day when you stepped back from an easel and held a piece of charcoal under the pad of your thumb and your mind and body became one with your mark making. All her tools are gorgeous, but more importantly they help express an elegance and confidence to your effort.
This is my third piece from Elizabeth and Kim and I highly recommend their work! The colors and the sgraffito work done by Elizabeth are so amazing and the cup made by Kim is perfect!
