These brushes are made from goat bristles, they are super soft, with good flexibility. They have a 9 inch long, flat wood handle.

  • 1" Wide Bristle

They work well with encaustic medium, medium can be applied very smoothly and evenly on the surface of the painting. They tend not to shed as much as other brushes and the head of the brushes holds their shape.

Using this soft Hake brush for encaustic gives it such a smooth finish!

Dancing Hake Brush!!

This goat hair brush is so soft you could put your makeup on with it! I like the smooth wood on the handle too! It really does "dance" when painting with it and holds a lot of paint. A definite "happy" brush!
