This adjustable silicone blade mark-making tool is designed to work with encaustic medium on a Roland HOTbox™ or another hot palette. In addition to the encaustic monotype, the silicone blade tool can be used with Alcohol Ink, on a Gelli Printing Plate, with Fluid Acrylic on Yupo, and in many other applications. This blade will be made to order and the total length may vary by a 1/2 inch. Please allow 3 to 4 working days for production and shipping.
- Each section of this blade can move from left to right, changing its line pattern.
- You can make 100's of different line patterns by adjusting the sections
- the min length of the blade is 10.5" to a maximum of 12.5" in length
- The handle has a beautiful burned-in pattern
- The blade is a total of 10.5" - 12.5" in length (blade surface)
- The silicone blade can withstand heat up to 350 F.

This tool is designed to pull paint from the plate, leaving “random” flowing lines, shapes, and or marks. It moves smoothly across the plate, allowing the artist to move the blade without bending or disruption.
