This handcrafted brush features my premium black horsehair, known for its fine, uncut, pointed tips, excellent spring, and strong flex. Designed for use with water-based and other fluid media, it allows for dynamic, expressive mark-making—from bold strokes to fine lines.

The ferrule is made from copper and has a rich, multi-colored patina with subtle shifts in tone that catch the light beautifully. The ferrule shape is flat, creating a long, flatter bristle shape. The handle is crafted from natural wormwood driftwood and features a burned-in patina that enhances the organic grain and texture. A black leather hanging strap is included for ease of storage.
This brush combines function with unique craftsmanship, making it ideal for artists working in fluid or HB acrylic, Sumi-e, ink wash, watercolor, and other fluid-based applications.
