Vintage Boar Bristle Paintbrush With Hardwood Handle

This is a vintage flat head boar bristle brush. The bristle is super-coarse, has great flex, strong spring, and will make a wide variety of dynamic marks. it is great for glazing and working with thicker media. The brush has its original bristle head, which is in excellent unused condition. The handle is also original, I have carved in a geometric design.

 The brush has:

• A leather hanging strap, which I added
• The black boars bristle is 1.5" in length
• The handle (including the ferrule) is 4" in length

My brushes are made to create a vast array of marks. When I make a brush I think about all aspects of the tool: how it looks, how it feels in the hand, and how it paints - to ensure that the end product is a true "fine art tool".
