This brush was made by Elizabeth. It has a tapered 3.5" bristle head that will make a wide variety of marks, and textures. The brush bristle is made with my premium white horsehair, the tips are uncut and pointed. 

  • The handle was made with ribbed black bamboo and is highly polished.

This brush will hold a lot of media and can make thick to very fine lines. The bristle has great spring and flex. Because of the long length of the brush bristles, it can create wide and expressive marks.


The brush end also has a leather hanging strap. This brush type can work with a lot of different media including ink, acrylic, and many other media.

  • Handle: 11" in length (Including ceramic ferrule)
  • Bristle: 3.5" in length

My brushes are made to make art :) - they are versatile, and a stiffer blunt bristle head will be a terrific mark maker, offering the artist a ton of mark-making options.

I love this brush!

This brush is lovely to look at and feels really good in the hand. The bamboo handle is very satiny and smooth. I find this white horsehair ever so slightly coarse, yet smooth to the touch and it makes nice firm strokes as well as fine line strokes. I use it with both fluid acrylic and sumi ink. This is one of my "workhorse", go-to brushes. Elizabeth is a talented and skilled brush maker! This brush has an elegant simplicity about it's design and is so well crafted that I derive pleasure in just looking at it!
