White Horsehair Paint Brush with Embers Series Bamboo Handle
This brush was made by Elizabeth. It has a tapered bristle head that will make a wide variety of marks, and textures. The brush bristle is made with my premium white horsehair, the tips are uncut and pointed. This type of horsehair is special, white in particular is very fine. It is also more expensive to source.
The handle has a burned-in design and is part of a new series I am calling embers. The handle looks like embers, glimmering with hot light. The process of creating this beautiful pattern is time-consuming, but the outcome is worth the effort :)
This brush will hold a lot of media and can make thick to very fine lines.
The brush end also has a leather hanging strap. This brush type can work with a lot of different media including ink, acrylic, and many other media.
- Handle: 8.5" in length (Including ceramic ferrule)
- Bristle: 3.5" in length
My brushes are made to make art :) - they are versatile, and a stiffer blunt bristle head will be a terrific mark maker, offering the artist a ton of mark-making options.

What a wonderful Christmas gift! I gave two beautiful horse hair brushes to my step daughter for Christmas and she loved them! She is a graphic designer professionally and very artistically inclined. She immediately had a deep appreciation for the combination of materials and aesthetic appeal of these beautiful brushes. The service could not have been better. My every request was met. Betsy is so wonderful to deal with! I would recommend these beautiful brushes to anyone!
