Parrot Feather Sumi-e Paintbrush With Bamboo Handle

This listing is for a handcrafted parrot feather Sumi-e paintbrush which was made with soft, flexible parrot feathers that are 2.75" in length. These types of feathers can make very fluids and delicate marks, they are wonderful to work with. The feathers also have very good spring and shape recall.

This brush is similar to the brush that is featured in the video below.

The bamboo handle is 9.5" long, it has a striped burned-in pattern and a leather hanging strap.

Feather brushes are also very durable and clean up well. The smaller brush that I used in this video is 8 years old.
