Silicone C-Tool

The silicone multi-line C-tool mark-making tool is designed to work with encaustic medium on a Roland HOTbox™ or another hot palette to create encaustic monotype prints. The silicone C-tool can make interesting solid or contoured lines and marks.

• The silicone blade can withstand heat up to 350 F.
• The handle will be bamboo and is 7" in length
• The handle has a leather hanging strap

This tool is designed to pull paint from the plate, leaving “random” flowing lines, shapes, and or marks. It moves easily across the plate, allowing the artist to move the blade without bending or disruption.
