Wind Rider - Dragon Ink Painting

Using a feather brush, I painted this original artwork titled "Wind Rider" on traditional Asian calligraphy paper. I'm intrigued by the unpredictable yet controlled results that come from painting dragons with a feather brush. The marks made with the brush produce a unique energy that can be compared to the breeze of the wind.

The paper is a very soft cream color (more white than cream) and the ink has many different levels of grey.

The ink painting is completely original, painted by Elizabeth.
